Community Guidelines

Last updated: August 2026

ArogyaRelief includes community-driven features — hazard reports, requests, and broadcasts — that only work if the information shared is accurate and used in good faith. These guidelines apply to everyone using the platform.

1. Report Responsibly

Community reports (road blocked, bridge collapsed, flood level rising, disease outbreak, and similar) are shared with nearby responders and other users in real time. Only submit a report if you believe it to be true and current. Inaccurate reports can misdirect responders away from real emergencies.

2. No False Emergency Requests

Submitting a false SOS, medical request, or relief request is a serious violation. During a disaster, every false request can delay help reaching someone who genuinely needs it. Accounts found submitting false emergencies will be suspended, and incidents may be referred to authorities.

3. No Impersonation

Do not impersonate another individual, a verified responder, an NGO, a hospital, or a government authority. Verification exists specifically so that victims can trust who they're receiving help from — impersonation undermines that trust for everyone on the platform.

4. Respectful Communication

Harassment, threats, hate speech, and abusive behavior toward any user — victim, volunteer, or professional — are not permitted, including within broadcast messages, community reports, or direct communication features.

5. Privacy of Others

Do not share another person's private information (contact details, medical information, exact location) without their consent, except as necessary within the platform's intended request-and-response workflow.

6. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on severity. Malicious false emergency reports or impersonation of emergency authorities may also be reported to law enforcement.

7. Reporting a Violation

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to:
