Hi, I'm Abhigyan.

My interest in healthcare started early, and my studies in medical laboratory science have given me an understanding of healthcare from the ground level.

But over time, I noticed something else. During disasters—like the severe floods we frequently see in Assam—the healthcare infrastructure itself isn't always the only problem. Often, the biggest hurdle is simply coordination. People who desperately need help can't reach doctors, and doctors or relief workers who want to help don't know exactly where to go.

The disconnect in disaster healthcare coordination became difficult to ignore. I felt that there had to be a better way to connect people who need help with the people who can provide it.

Building the solution

I wanted to build something practical rather than just talking about the problem. That's how ArogyaRelief started.

I shared the idea with my friend, Manash Jyoti Baruah, who is studying his MCA at Dibrugarh University. Together, we started working on the technical side of ArogyaRelief, figuring out how to build a system that actually makes sense for the people on the ground.

What's next

Building this project has been an incredible learning experience. We are not a massive corporation, and we don't have thousands of employees. We are just two students trying to build a tool that works.

My hope is that ArogyaRelief grows to become something truly useful across disaster-prone regions of India. We want to keep learning, keep improving, and keep focusing on what actually matters: helping the right information reach the right person at the right time.
