Community Guidelines
ArogyaRelief is a lifeline for communities in crisis. The effectiveness of this platform relies entirely on the trust, honesty, and cooperation of its users. These guidelines outline expected behaviour for all users—victims, volunteers, NGOs, and medical professionals.
1. No False or Prank Requests
Submitting a false request for rescue, medical help, or supplies diverts critical, life-saving resources away from people who genuinely need them. Do not test the system by submitting fake emergency requests. We actively monitor for abuse, and intentional misuse may be reported to local authorities.
2. Accurate Urgency Reporting
When submitting a request, accurately assess the urgency. Reserving the "Critical" status for genuine life-threatening emergencies (e.g., severe bleeding, unresponsive patients, immediate drowning risk) ensures responders can prioritize effectively. Overstating urgency delays help for those in worse conditions.
3. No Impersonation
Do not claim to be a doctor, NGO representative, government official, or hospital administrator if you are not. Impersonating a medical professional or official responder is dangerous and strictly prohibited. We require verification for elevated roles precisely to prevent this.
4. Respectful Communication
Disasters are highly stressful environments for both victims and responders. Keep communication clear, factual, and respectful. Harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind against individuals seeking help or volunteers providing it will result in immediate account termination.
5. Update Your Status
If you submitted a request and later received help from another source, or managed to relocate to safety, please update your request status to "Resolved" or "Cancelled". This frees up responders to assist others.
6. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter a user violating these guidelines—such as a responder acting unprofessionally or a user repeatedly submitting false information—please report them to us immediately at:
